So I made an account because I'm trying to think of a movie and no one I've talked to has been able to help me...
The movie is about dreams, and its animated. I think the boy's confused about knowing when he's dreaming. Throughout the movie he talks with random people about his dreams... while still dreaming. I saw it on either HBO or Showtime about 5 years ago. That is ALL I remember, but it was a great movie and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what I'm talking about. ?  lol

Not incredibly helpful, Killer Bees.

I did a quick search on the IMDb for animated films with a keyword of "Dreams" and came up with this short list:

   1. Cardcaptor Sakura (1999) 6.7/10 (184 votes)
   2. Close to Saskia (2007) 9.0/10 (5 votes)
   3. Dreamboy (1997) (TV)
   4. Evergon (2002) 7.0/10 (35 votes)
   5. Everything Will Be Ok (2006) 8.2/10 (117 votes)
   6. Garfield: His 9 Lives (1988) (TV) 7.7/10 (154 votes)
   7. Sizmara (1983)
   8. X: Yochou (2001) (V) 8.7/10 (13 votes)

"Evergon" and "Dreamboy" both looked like possibles, but I could not find more information on them.  I take it that the movie you saw looked recent?  Can you describe any of the people the boy talked to?  Places he went?  How old was the boy?

Sorry about that.  Trying to be funny and failed miserably.  I'll go hide in a corner now.  But the movie sounds interesting all the same.

If it's got slackers then it's probably Waking Life, a movie I enjoyed.
