I didn't want to hijack Killer Bees' birthday thread so I figured a new thread was in order.

Have any major event happened on your birthday?
Sadly, a lot of people have died on the date of my birth.   Bluesad

---------------------------------------

On my birthday 4/19, the following events in history happened:

1995: The Oklahoma City Bombing

1775: The American Revolution begins.(the shot heard round the world)

1861: First blood in the Civil War.

1943: Warsaw Ghetto Uprising begins.

1993: The Branch Davidian compound burns.

-----------------------------------------

To find out what happened on your birthday visit www.history.com and scroll down to the middle.  Look on the right side of the page where it says, "What Happened On Your Birthday?".  Enter your birthdate and go from there.
Or you could just go to Wikipedia and type your birthdate in the search box.

What has happened on your birthday?

Nothing too much of note really, the most important one being 'Bonnie And Clyde Gunned Down'.

Oh and this one was amusing:

23/05/2004: George W. Bush recovers from bicycle accident.

Such a shame...
