Johnny Rico is back along with Jolene Blalock from ST:Enterprise.  Looks like it's probably SciFi Saturday material, but one can hope.

Oh man I gotta see this!!!  I loved the first one and thought the second one was pretty excellent considering how much money they had to work with.  The trailer for this one looks kind of corny, but oh well.

I thought that the 1st one was great and still underappreciated by most people to this day. 

The 2nd one however was complete garbage. I know they had a minuscule budget comparatively speaking to the 1st one, but no amount of money could have made this turd watchable.

Hopefully the 3rd one will change things around for the better as the universe of these movies is still really cool.

Starship Troopers = great but poorly translated by Paul.
Starship Troopers 2 = interesting ideas.
Starship Troopers: Marauder? I saw new Bugs and a robot suit so it'll probably be cool and I saw Casper so you know it'll have the old flavor but I think the Arachnids could look better, they move too much like robots in the trailer. I'll still see it, though. It's a series, I have to

The SFX look pretty good from something that is probably going to by-pass theaters and go straight to dvd. One item of interest for bad movie fans, the film stars Van Dien's wife Catherine Oxenberg and actress Amanda Donohoe. And it's been twenty years since those two last appeared together in a film called "Lair of the White Worm."

The first "Starship troopers" was pretty good.

The third looks soooo "Bmovie-ish,"

but hey, i love "Bmovies."
