Apparently Jeff Healey has died of cancer at 41. Roadhouse fans will remember his cameo (that's the movie that introduced me to his music) as the leader of the Roadhouse band. I have several of his albums and was always amazed at his musical ability. He was an outstanding guitar player, and I am saddened to hear of his death at such a young age.

RIP. He was a fine talent. Actually saw him on TV only a few days ago trying to help some charity (I think Children's Wish Foundation) in their fundraising efforts.

Very sad. He had a long life ahead of him and he really was a talented man. I lost track of him years ago. I guess the cancer must have cut short his career.

I guess we won't see the Jeff Healey edition of Guitar Hero coming out any time soon.  I'm kidding of course.  RIP to a singular talent.
He learned almost too late that man is a feeling creature... and because of it, the greatest in the universe........
