First Look at the Watchmen

I haven't actually ever read the graphic novel, but after seeing these it's on my list of things to do.

Worth reading, one of the best written comics I've ever read. 

No matter how good the movie is, expect Moore to b***h about it.  I'm surprised that guy gets anything done with all his complaining.  Good writer, but seriously...

One of the great things about this production is the NOT using of overexposed celeb faces in the cast.  Nothing distracts from, or in many cases rips you right out of, a film quite like ostentatious casting.  That production design looks smashing.

And good for Jackie Earle Haley, a name not enough people know. 

I'm gonna wear the "Doomsday Clock" t-shirt I got from the fine folks at the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists when I see this.  Hope it's a mild March.
