One of my all time favorites is "Save the Earth" in Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster.

Some of my other favorites already mentioned are "Green Slime" and "Beware of the Blob."

Oh yeah, and what about the title song from "My Son, the Vampire."

Ever notice how the music from TALES from the CRYPT tv show sounds oddly like the theme from MY SON THE VAMPIRE?

Speaking of that film...and B-A-D music....

Here's a classic. The theme from Kingdom of the Spiders, that played at the beginning of the movie, the end, and on practically every radio in between. Let's take a trip down to peaceful Verde Valley, shall we?

The "Fall Break" song from The Mutilator was pretty fun, too.

It's just amazingly out of place once the movie gets rolling and the killer is doing his killing.  It does provide some sense of the brutal change, kids going to a beach house to enjoy fall break and being murdered instead.

BELA, always enjoyed "The Words Get Stuck In My Throat" from WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS
Another favorite of mine is "The Blob" from THE BLOB, credited to THE FIVE BLOBS which charted in 1958 reaching #33 (youtube link already posted by REV.)  Though not a fan of THE KILLER, can't deny his hotness, this one from HIGH SHOOL CONFIDENTIAL (plus lots of COOL clips  TeddyR and yes, that's JACKIE COOGAN on the piano in the "beat" part)  :

I've been trying to collect themes songs from my favorite slashers and put them on my iPod for a while now. Here's "The Legend Lives" from "Madman," which is oddly creepy even with the ridiculously cheesy synth notes. The music video is set to footage from the Ninja Turtles cartoon for some reasons...:

I recently got the information needed to use what I've dubbed "Love Theme from "Don't Go In the Woods"" in my own indie film.

Sadly, I couldn't find a music video for "The Dark Side of the Forest" from "The Forest," but here's the trailer instead which is pretty cool.

Here's Angela's theme from "Sleepaway Camp." Considering the shock value of the movie, the song is surprisingly bitter-sweet.

And how could we forget "Everybody Get's Laid Tonight?" I know I can't.

All of the music from "Phantom of the Paradise," "Shock Treatment," and "Rocky Horror" is excellant, of course. And somebody's all ready posted "The Green Slime" which rockers all sorts of boxers. And again, not ashamed to admit that I've saved all of the above songs.

That Alice Cooper song is awesome.  Karma point for that.

Karma point for the Green Slime song.

Here's my submission.  I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet.

Oh how I miss those desert skies, your cool touch in the night...

And another Karma point for that disturbing Joker-chewing-gum avatar.

On a serious note, for non-bad movies, love the music from Blade Runner, and also for some reason much of the music from Ladyhawke.  Must be an eighties thing.  =)

Man, nobody mentioned Lon Chaney Jr. singing "Spider Baby", from the ultra-weird film of the same name --
I have the soundtrack to "Forbidden Zone" -- it's mostly all Cab Calloway, with very little Oingo Boingo.  Wonderful music!!
I like Weird Al Yankovic's take on Bond music in "Spy Hard" -- "The naaamme of this film is Spyyy HAAARRDD!!", etc.

From Meet The Feebles

Garden of Love - a lovely song with a pretty melody.  Pity a huge hippo with binge eating issues is singing it.

Sodomy - Very funny and clever.  Sung by a fox with delusions of theatrical grandeur.
