Game suggestions and comments.  Be warned, if you die you restart at level 2 with nothing so go back to the main menu and start over.

YES! I can't believe I missed this thread, I may have never had a video game system in my life but ever since I got a comp. (I've got an oooolldd fashioned family Lookingup ) I have had a growing collection of brilliant amateur "Flash" games, I've got a million mediocre to good ones in my head, but here are the ones that immediately come to me:

Death Worm Small | Large
- Play as a giant earthworm centipede thing, eat eerily identical buildings, people, hot-air baloons and flying saucers! TeddyR It's pretty addicting, despite the 30-second time limit...
Weird Fighters - Like a weird fighting game based on one of Badmovies' own "Interactive b-movies" where you get to play as a cyborg goat, a "Thing"-infected scientist, a Jaundice-twisted bat-loving cannibal, and more! Crap controls though, that's not really the point, is it?
Chaos Faction - Very addicting game where you play as a chibi stock-character and beat up other chibi stock characters with a huge variety of weapons!
Four Second Firestorm - Addicting series of fast-paced (four-second or less!) minigames, follows "Four-second Fury" and "Four-second Frenzy"
A.l.i.a.s. - "Alien Lifeform Intended for Assassination and Sabotage", great side-scrolling shooter with fairly odd graphics :).
Megaman Next - odd, free-spirited spinoff from classic Megaman games, don't let the blocky graphics put you off, you get used to 'em after a while.
Adventures of Buttlock! - You'll have fun, I think TeddyR

is the most addicting I've ever played. Idea is simple, just stop them from getting to the other side. But rediculously challenging on the harder modes.

bit of strategy, bit of micro.

Here's one you can play AND help people...

http://www.freerice.com/index.php

Guys might have seen this on the news, basically each answer you get right, you donate ten grains of rice to feed hungry people.  It's a vocab guessing game.  Me, being a big reader and stuff, I find it fascinating.  So far though, I haven't gotten past 40 on my score (it drops you down when you miss a word, and you have to get several right to bring the score back up.)

I'm sure 40 is pretty good compared to average people, but I'd be curious to hear what scores you guys get.

I stooped when I got to 40 because I didn't want to show you up, BTM.   Wink  Actually, it's very difficult to get to that level: they pull out some really obscure and useless words.  Says I donated 540 grains of rice: not much, but maybe a free lunch for some poor soul.

Yeah, some of them.  And sometimes they have words I know but they use a different meaning for them.  But a lot of the words I'm going, "Oh, oh, I know that one!  That's an AWESOME word."  Like "eviscerate" for example.

I think my friend from work would probably get a kick out of this game as well.  Sometimes we play a game while working where we pull "fifty cent" words on each other to see who can stump the other person.  (Yes, I know, we're nerds, you should hear when we're batting around movie ideas.)

I like this game, it gets harder towards the end, but if you play your cards right, you might destroy all of the tanks.
