Teens on an island, stalked by smugglers?

Okay, dunno when this film was made, at least early nineties, possibly mid-eighties.  Starts out with a heavyset guy in glasses talking to the camera (yes, directly to the camera) about how he's going on a trip with a bunch of people from school, including some hot to trot girl who think he'll be able to "get some" from.  He says something, "I've packed over a dozen condoms, this is the day I become a man!"

What starts out like teen sex comedy becomes serious (somehow or other) they end up stuck on this island.  Several guys show up to rescue them, but turns out they're drug smugglers.  They capture the group and try to rape one of the girls.  The guys manage to break free and kill the two smugglers.  (Great line, Chubby guy says, "Great, I always wanted to get my sex education from a drug smuggling rapists!")

Gang retreats to the forest a bit, where, around the campfire the guy tells a girl he doesn't want to die a virgin, and she just gives him a sad little sympathy pat on the shoulder and walks off.  Meanwhile, main "hero" guy of the group "comforts" the girl who was the victim of an attempted rape.

Later, more guys show up, and this time the group doesn't take chances, and they stay hidden.

Anyway, dunno much more than that.

Sounds like Out of Control (1985) which starred Betsy Russell

Hmm.. think that might be it.  Weird, not even any reviews on imdb, that film must have been totally forgotten!

Dr Menard is 100% correct: that is "Out of Control" which I actually saw when it came out.

Immortal line: "I don't wanna die a virgin...."
