Every once in awhile I like to submit new avatars to the site and I figured I haven't done it for awhile...so here's some from the 80s (all near size of 100x100 jpgs):

Hehe thanx!  Karma points for anyone who tries (or can) name what each image represents without cheating (looking at the image name).  Some are easy but a couple are difficult.

I'll be adding some more not necessarily 80s avatar samples pretty soon.

I'm gonna try that test....

Hmmm...#1-dunno.
#2-Mr.T
#3-Flock of Seagulls- ...and I ran...I ran so far away... heh.
#4-Punky Brewster-ugh.
#5-Devo (?)
#6-Max,of ccccccc-course!
#7-Police Acadamy!
#8-Count Duckula
#9-dunno
#10-Thundercats
#11-EDDIE!
#12-Video Killed the Radio Star ?
#13-Danger Mouse (duh)
#14-dunno
#15-Megadeth!!!! Thumbup
#16-Motley Crue. I never liked this talentless rip-off of KISS. And callin' a band a talentless rip off of KISS is as low as a band can get...as KISS wasn't much beyond make-up and stage show. Early kiss...ok. Later...meh.
#17-???
#18-some dink.
#19-Dee Snyder. Whatta clown! And I mean that in a good way. I like Dee Snyder!
#20-Slade...ooops...I mean Quite Riot.
#21-Transformers.
#22-looks like the gas tank of a motorcycle. Dunno.
#23-Tron
#24-A He-Man villian?

Oh well...I gave it a shot! My favorite of the bunch...Dee Snyder. That guy cracks me up!  Thumbup

Karma for a good try - got most of 'em - like I said - some were harder than others.  Tron isn't correct though -but it was definitely ripped off of Tron.  LOL at motorcycle gas tank!  hahahaha -that's not quite right either but damn that's funny!  And great job with Devo -I thought that one was a bit obscure.

"Early kiss...ok. Later...meh." -definitely agree with that - I still love the "Hotter than Hell album" but I'm "meh" with about anything after "Destroyer"

I was doing a lotta "partying" in the 80's....(Turned turned 20 in '82) and I do mean a LOT...so my memories of that decade are slooshed with whiskey and other substances.....I'm surprised I remember any thing at all. I actually have clearer memories of the "70's and 60's when I was a teen and youngin' than the 80's!!!!

Okay, taking a stab at filling in some of the ones RC missed:

(1) - The Baroness from GI Joe
(9) - Cheetara from Thundercats
(14) - You Can't Do That On Television
(17) - Uhm, I think this is from a music video called something like "Do You Hear Me?"
(22) - is that something from Battlestar Galactica? Or Buck Rogers?
(24) - Beastman

Karma for that!  Hahah yes those are all right except 22.  17 is close enough - it's Missing Person's "Words" but the first line of the song is "do you hear me...do you care"

22 is kinda hard w/o the context but I'll give you a hint - it was about a group of guys on a boat.

Oh and the second to last one is "Automan"

Well #23 is AutoMan.

And I would've been wrong on #3 had I guessed before RC.  I thought it was Martin Gore. :)

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
