Okay, this is kind of stupid, but I'm planning on making my own B-movie site one day.  The only problem is that I have no idea on how to make Web sites or pages.  So does anybody have any suggestions, a class, book, web site, anything?

There are lots of books, and web pages out there on HTML and Web design.  I took a class in tech school for web design, but I didn't have a choice, but it was really good because it taught me a lot about Web Design.

HTML is fairly easy to lean and easy to use.

Yeah, if you want to make a website, the best place to start is html. It's really basic stuff and you'll notice it's actually very similar to posting here on the forum, especially when it comes to adding links and modifying text. GeoCities also has a good starter program that will help you put together a basic outline for your website that you can build off of while getting the html thing down. I've been with them for probably 7 or so years now and my complaints are minimal. Of course, if you want a site without adverts running down the side of your page, you'll have to pony up $5/month, but if you don't mind it you can get as many free sites through them as you'd like!  Cheers

If you're interested in doing a blog-style site, look into wordpress.  Once it's installed, it's fairly easy for someone with no knowledge of HTML to use and produce a very professional looking blog.

I used web tutorials to learn HTML, javascript, PHP, etc. back in the day.  I seem to remember this was a pretty good HTML tutorial: http://www.w3schools.com/HTML/html_intro.asp.

Good luck, publishing websites can be a very fun (if rarely profitable) hobby.

I second the Reverend about Wordpress, or some other CMS (Content Management System). If these instant ways to publish on the web had been around when we old-timers first started our sites, I doubt we'd ever have bothered learning HTML.  Not that that would have been a good thing per se, but nowadays you don't have to know about coding to put up a website, just like you don't have to be able to build a car to drive one.

EXCELLENT!  These are very good suggestions and I hope that you will be seeing a Patient7 website very soon.
