I was lucky enough to see Totem as well. I thought it had a certain naive charm about it, as if the actors had absolutely no idea how awful the film they were starring in was. The Viking scene left me totally dumbfounded as well. I almost had to pause the disk just to ponder "what in the hell was that?". The Indian/Greek guy was also a real head scratcher. For long stretches of dialogue I couldn't understand a word he said. One girl was possessed by the spirit of one of the Totem's and she'd mumble something like "umph", and he'd translate it into an entire sentence.
I'll have to watch it again one of these days. It was terrible, but I don't hang out on the Bad Movie board for nothin'
