If you like stuff like "Payday" you'll love this. I wasn't quite as taken with it as others have been, but it was very interesting and worth seeing.
There is a lot of what they call "acting": inner self expressions, crying, struggling with the meaning of ones life. To the point where, hey, maybe let's get back to the movie guys. Some of this feels like the deleted scenes you watch after the movie and think "oh". but protagonist Robert Blake is excellent and though pretentious in places it is grounded in a solid plot about a murder mystery. and anyone, not just police, can relate to Blakes predicament where the low on the totem pole co workers are morons and the slightly more intelligent higher ups are ridiculously eccentric. So thumbs up.
