I like the idea of wide open debate on any and all topics . . . but I think that common courtesy should still be the rule of the day.  Just because someone disagrees does not mean they are evil . . . or even wrong, for that matter.

In no way was I using that to advocate censorship.  It was intended to point out that certain subjects are universally more likely to cause a fracas.

I posted a topic a while back about buying ahh what was it, that stuff meth addicts buy in truckloads.  it's not something i usually buy so I was like yeah go ahead give people the 3rd degree.  boy did i have my head up my ass.  virtually ALL the responses I got, barring a couple from law enforcement folks, were resoundingly negative here and elsewhere and even in my own family.

So, I was the statist for once.  but it was out of ignorance

I hadn't noticed this thread before but I'm the same as Andrew in that I just try to keep my comments to entertainment or non-confrontation type things.
