As former president Ike Eisenhower would say,
The Tomb of Anubis has been "BIZZAY" these last few days!
Anubis commemorated the historic bombing of Hiroshima and the subsequent birth of the atomic monster genre with the biggest of the bunch, the original 1954 landmark
Godzilla... and nobody get all tight about the "Gojira" title, because the subtitles for the Classics Media release titles it as "Godzilla".
Anubis also rallied in a trio of reviews for his backed-up "52 Weeks" project this past week with features for the freaky Hong Kong answer to "Rocky":
The Boxer's Omen; the Spanish big monster crap-o-rama
The Sea Serpent; and in an odd coincidence Friday's opening ceremonies for the Beijing Olympics were marred with
Gymkata!
Do to some computer virus problems and an issue with a burnt out modem, our access to the site is temporarily limited. There was going to be a commemorative review for the Nagasaki bombing too, but the last few days have been a nightmare. We'll do what we can when we can though, so keep your fingers (or talons, or tentacles, or whatever) crossed.
