I'm a big fan of any death scene in a Schwarzenegger movie.  They always come with a one liner.

Stick around.

Screw you!!!!!

See you at the party, Richter!

It's beautiful.  As though Arnold has some contract clause that legally binds the filmmakers to allow him to write a couple of lines for each movie.

The kid in the sleeping bag in Prophecy:

Click Here (If you haven't seen it before, make sure you are not drinking anything.)

That one didn't make me smile so much as giggle uncontrollably. The irony is that I was a kid when I first saw it, and the movie actually did scare me - except for the bouncing banana disappearing in a puff of feathers.

Him die funny! Cheers

Gotta love those Arnoldisms.

"He had to split."

"Consider that a divorce."

"Well, that hit the spot."

Haha, as soon as I saw this topic title, I thought "That Destiny's Child chick in Freddy vs. Jason!", and low and behold, it was the first one mentioned! Have some positive +Karma from me, DarkSider, not just for that fact but also for an awesome topic idea.

Back to the review of "Prophecy" -- I had sort of avoided it in the stores, as I didn't care for the box cover, making it look like just another Alien or Evil Child ripoff (So many very bad ones of those out there, folks!), but now that I finally read the review, yeah, I guess I'll have to see it now --
By the way, the principle that a developing foetus reflects Darwinian Evolution is an old one:  "Ontogeny recapitulates philogeny", which holds that the mammalian foetus goes through piscean, amphibian, and reptilian phases in the womb before becoming mammalian.  It's sort of dismissed these days as an oversimplification, but still has its adherents.

While I forget the actor's name, I always found some cheer in the death-by-flaregun end of the psycho villian in the Australian "Dead Calm".  A truly awful villian deserves a truly epically awful end . . .

Deep Core - Wil Wheaton (aka Wesley Crusher from Star Trek) gets buried in molten lava.  Man that felt good!

Indeed, almost as enjoyable as watching him getting smacked around by Claude Akins in The Curse  Cheers

I had some vague memories of a film I saw long ago with Claude Akins and his family on a farm, and apples that had worms in them.  The Curse!  That's it!  I was about ready to ask about it on the What was the Film board.  Ah, another one for the wishlist.
