Don't mention the Cabala series or even most of the Trophy Hunters. It seems there is a huge opening for someone to take this to the next level. Basically they have pretty stupid issues. Cabela Dangerous Hunts: In this world if you step 3 inches into a pond you will sink and die..wha wha what? If you come across a 12" log laying on its side, you must walk around it... You are really heavy in this world I guess. That's why you sink like a lead weight, can't climb or lift your leg high enough to step over a log. A red dot? Your target is marked on the screen with a red dot.Even if its 5 miles away..Over 3 mountain ranges... And since you are so heavy, you will be playing a mini-game.. Mountain Mazes! Kinda sucks the suspense out. If these games want to go to the extreme on being "realistic" with making me buy licenses to kill 1 certain animal (and ending the hunt if I kill another), making me eat, drink and counting my inventory weight- Then let me climb a dang hill or step over a log!

I much prefer the Deer Avenger series myself. The problem I have with it is the use of tranquilizer darts rather than real ammo; hey, fair is fair.

I have one of the Cabala games and its disappointing.  It seems no matter what you do, everything spooks within 100 yards of you.  I often get frustrated and end up following the animals on ATV, jump off last minute and shoot them.  So to answer your question, sorry I don't know but would also love to hear about a good hunting game.
