Was passing down the highway just a couple miles from my house today and a long lost tourist attraction was uncovered when crews began cutting away thick rows of trees and brush to reveal FRONTIER VILLAGE which hasn't operated since I've been in New Jersey. It probably operated in the 60's and maybe the 70's. Actually I found this location with a hidden drive-way a few months ago when I became curious after remembering a story about Frontier Village in Weird New Jersey magazine and nobody knew where it was and know the whole area can get a brief glimpse of it before they knock it down. There have been people living in this old tourist attraction for years with a no trespassing sign at the entrance of village so I wouldn't go in before. Hidden in the woods it was, but now that the trees have been cleared you can see it from the highway. Here's my latest installment of Adventure Theater. Pardon my froggy voice as I've had a nasty cold as of late.
