Monster Mouse Movie

A friend of mine is wondering what this movie might be, didn't ring any of the rodent movie bells I have seen so I knew where to come to 

Here is her description of the film:

do you know of a B movie about a killer toy wind up mouse that kills a small family and makes a three foot mouse hole in the basement wall.
I think it was called Mousie...I dunno I was 11 when I saw it. its been bothering me for years and I have been trying to find it.

Wow, this one sounds interesting.  It is a wind-up mouse toy that kills a family?  Any idea of when it was made, or when and where your friend saw the film?  I understand she was 11, but when was she 11?  And this was a live action film?

She hasn't gotten back to me yet with the details but I know she was born in 1981 so if that helps.
I'll see if I can scrounge for more details on it though

This was all she can remember 

it was live action. I was 11 I think. the story revolved around this wind up toy mouse that starts killing this boys family one by one and dragging their bodies into a three foot tall mouse hole.

there was little dialogue. all the family died even the boy. And it ended with the mouse jetting down the street to the next house.

Perhaps this could have been an episode from a horror show, like "Monsters" or "Tales from the Crypt?"

I've read about this film, it's a short called "Mousie." But I don't have any more info other than that.
