Back in '86 or possibly '85 a classmate told me about a movie he'd seen where a woman was either possessed or cursed into spinning around so rapidly that her insides flew out. Any idea what this could have been? When I recount the conversation, I always picture the woman in a nightgown at the top of some stairs and she floats up into the air and begins to spin. But that could be just my imagination filling in the details.

Loose match is "Possession" with Isabelle Adjani as the spinning woman.  She goes nuts in a subway tunnel, spins around screaming, and then what looks like blood and spoiled milk begins leaking from between her legs.

Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't Possession. I've seen that  (good flick). This sounded more like a witch-y film, maybe even demonic possession. I don't think it was arty.
