I remember going to a drive in with my parents in the early 70's (I was about 7 or 8 yrs old) and the feature that night was a cartoon that was not for kids... It was about these giant humanoid type alien children that found a human man and woman (dressed like adam and eve...) and took them home as pets. It was a line draw type cartoon, not with the sterotypical bright colors that you would normally think of in a cartoon. It was kind of an artsy type movie that that you would see at an independent film festival. I can't remember the name of this movie but would like to find out. Can anyone remember this?

This sounds very much like the French film Fantastic Planet, which I think came out in 73 maybe a year later in USA.
Y'know, that is probably the first move I can recall seeing in a theater.I was 3 or 4.

I'll second that...In fact,I believe this is about the 3rd time this movie has come up in the 'What Was That Film?' thread!  Smile

Yes. That is it. I was always wondering on this one. Thanks everyone. I will have to go out and see if I can get a copy of it from the video store. Thanks again.
