Jack Thompson walks out of his disbarment hearing

This guy is a real piece of work, he filed a rambling 14 page objection to the hearing (included in the article).  The Florida Bar asked for an "enhanced disbarment" which keep him out of the practice of law for 10 years.

This makes me so happy.  I posted my conversation with Jack Thompson a while back on here and he wouldn't actually speak to me...rather he just threw out insult after insult.  The guy is a tool, an epic epic tool.  He has used his status as a lawyer for his own personal gain and has tried to censor videogames long enough.

Anywho, Jack Thompson does seem a bit off, although I agree with him that children should be prevented from buying games like GTA.

Surprising fact, Jack Thompson is a douchebag!

It's sad that he was able to pull his schtick for so long, although not surprising.

Well, we are now honing down on his last minutes of fame, wherein he increasingly reveals the fact that is was never about some crusade against the horrors of video games (an asinine assumption), but rather about Jack Thompson and his heroic idea of whatever-the-hell-he-thought-he-was-doing.

Say what you want about Jack Thompson (seriously, say what ever you want, that guy deserves the worst of anything you can think), but it is infinitely more sad that he was ever taken seriously.  Politics is a dirty business, that I can live with. But does it have to be practiced by retards?

I admire the law, and that's why we have to keep it away from craven pieces of s**t like Jack Thompson. A law degree does not make you God, even it seems politically expedient.
