Oh yeah nothing I like better than a big fat hypocrite. Gore’s personal electricity consumption up 10%, despite “energy-efficient” home renovations, so much for those carbon credits.

You know, I recall reading that a certain ranch in Crawford, TX was built with all the latest environmental and energy conservation features included . . . it consumes about a tenth the energy of Gore's place, if I recall the story.

But did that home's owner win a Oscar and Nobel Peace Prize? As I understand it if you places the Oscar just so on you desk, you can keep your electric bill from being blown off by the air conditioning.

Gore is such a joke.

Oh, but it's all right. He's doing his part by persuading the rest of us to give up our personal comforts.

And he's buying carbon credits. They're no joke. It's a proven fact that they.....uh.....well.....they allow rich people to be hogs and then buy their absolution, so they can keep preaching at the rest of us with a clear conscience. It's just like in the good old days of indulgences. Centuries of tradition there. A time-honoured business.  TeddyR
