Can't say I ever understood why a monster with huge eyes and an exposed brain would be scary. Sure it's freaky looking, but you'd have a hard time NOT seriously hurting it.

Godmonster of Indian Flats is so painful to watch but I can't help but love it. I love how the monster has absolutely nothing to do with the films' actual story.

Has anyone seen The Beast from 20 000 Fathoms? The stupid dinosaur basically just wanders around, destroying whatever happens to be there for no real reason while people briskly jog away, not even looking remotely scared or shrieking.

I'd hardly call the Rheduasurus a "Rubbish Monster".  It's one of my favorite examples of Harryhausen's work.

I think a modern day rubbish monster could be "The Creeper" from Jeepers Creepers.  In the first one is a shot where you can see the zipper in the suit.  And in the second one is that scene where he's looking into the bus at all the people.  I think he looks like an evil muppet in that one.  Totally ruined any chance he had of being scary to me.

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

If you understand Spanish this all probably makes perfect sense:

Or not.

OH WOW!  Those monsters would make nice additions to a shoddy ol' dark ride.

 Buggedout

I remember a movie called either Slithis or Spawn of The Slithis in which there was an actual rubbish monster: a garbage heap suddenly gets up and goes for a walk. Wink
