What's a film without a little blasphemy?
The filmmakers in SA during the 60's and 70's had to be very careful of what they put on the screen otherwise the massive bum wiping hand of the Almighty Censor Board would give them a smack.

Lied In My Hart / Song In My Heart had two minutes cut out of its' beginning for "bringing the Church into disrepute": all of this for showing a priest going into a bar and having a BEER! BEER! with some of his friends!
I told Andrew in an email that I had to go through six 35mm prints before I found one that wasn't censored.
