This doesn't really surprise me, we get the same types up here. Many bicyclist REFUES to use the bike path, but instead opt to use a path on the opposite side of the road where atvs, dirt bikes, etc use (because they aren't allowed on the bike path). Their response is that atvs aren't allowed within 25 feet of the road, which is wrong, it's 6 feet. I truely think some of them are trying to get run over to help their cause. The law doesn't help, there is a tree-hugger in town here that was caught stealing a guy's LEGALLY deployed animal traps, and he had to do nothing but re-imburse the owner for the ones he was CAUGHT stealing. No fine, no jailtime, didn't even need a lawyer, nothing. Now a guy plants a trap 50 yards out of the trapping boundaries, and He gets a fine, liscense revoked, possibly jail time. Gotta remember also, THESE are the type of people that are standing in the way of virtually every alternative energy source.
