Server problems 17h00 ~ 18h00 CAT

I couldn't access the forum between 17h00 ~ 18h00 Central African Time on 22 July ~ I kept getting an error message saying the server was busy. It was probably the server on our side which has two slaves cranking the handle to keep it going. 

No access problems this morning.

Yes even with the guest posting turned off, it's still moving slow at times and I had a point yesterday where I got a SMF server error, I don't remember the exact message but it was pretty much a to busy error.

That's the exact same message I received.

Yes, I got that problem too. I tried to enter the site directly into the forum but got the 'server error' message. However, I was able to instantly access the forum through the homepage straight after that. Just one of those things.

Actually, I believe this was related to the folks at Knownhost (the hosting company) working on the server.  They were doing an upgrade for me - the site does have full support but I usually do everything - and they had a small problem.  The site was down from about 1100 EST to 1200 EST.  That would be the right timeframe for Trevor, as I believe South Africa is 6 hours ahead of EST.
