Ozzymandias speaks: He is probably taking about the pants wetting. That paved the way for the Detrol LA ad where the women have to wear big signs reading "I HAVE A BLADDER CONTROL PROBLEM" and part in the Sex and the City movie where Charlotte soils herself.

Wes Craven seems pretty embarrassed by this flick anymore. In fact, on the commentary track with producer Sean Cunningham, he practially apologizes to the viewer a few times about how rough the movie is.

I've always viewed it as some effective torture type scenes bookended by a lot of pointless and very poorly acted scenes.
