Apparently Turner Classic Movies has been keeping this list for a while, and you can vote for your favorites (but I don't see a way to nominate a movie).  SKIDOO and DEATH LAID AN EGG didn't make the top 200, but there are some films I'd like to see released, like JOHNNY GUITAR (#134), SONG OF THE SOUTH (#66: not holding my breath), THE EXTERMINATING ANGEL (#32), REBECCA (#10) and NOTORIOUS (#1).

I think we all want to see NIGHT OF THE CREEPS, and most (Hopefully) want PHANTASM 2. The former has 322 votes at TCM, Smile the latter, only 14 Bluesad

There are no GILDERSLEEVE movies on the list and these were great. What's up with that?

There are also a lot of obscure and pre-code films I'd like to see on DVD, I've DVR'd a number of them off Turner, but I'd prefer to have a restored with extras legit copy.

There are all great movies on the list, but there are also a lot of movies I'd place in the top 200 that aren't on the list as some of them that they have there I could live without. Do you really care about seeing "Wuthering Heights" and all the mushy-chick-stuff?

Only movie I voted for on that list was Godzilla 1985.

Movies not yet on DVD I want are If Looks Could Kill and Chiefs (which isn't a movie, but a miniseries, but whatever).

I voted for Vibes, a cute little Cyndi Lauper / Jeff Goldblum / Peter Falk movie.  I recorded it long ago on VHS and was recently going to transfer it to DVD, but the quality of my old tape was too poor.  Also Godzilla 1985.  Can't remember which one that is, but I voted for it anyway.  And Death Race.  Never seen it but it's described on the IMDb as "In the North African desert in World War II, a damaged American fighter plane that is unable to take off tries to evade and destroy a pursuing Nazi tank." and it stars Lloyd Bridges.

Apparently no love for The Keep and Rawhead Rex over at TCM  Bluesad

Vibes was a good movie.

I would vote for Song of the South.

I voted for "Godzilla 1985." It'd be nice if a two-disc special edition was released containing both versions of the film. I wasn't familiar with about 90% of the movies on that list which is part of the reason why I voted for the Big-G. That is one incomplete list however because there are dozens of movies I can think of that have yet to make their DVD debut. Am I the only guy on Earth who wants "Arena" and "No Holds Barred" on legit DVD?!

I'm surprised that Games has so many votes (#25 with 1960 votes).  I haven't seen it myself but I've become a big fan of Curtis Harrington over the last year and I'm trying to see/own all of his films.

While some may find this a good thing, ROBO-C.H.I.C. is not yet available on DVD . . .

That would be cool, seeing as it would be so easy to do with a filmography of 3 (And Anthony Cardoza is still alive to do documentaries and stuff Smile )

Interesting... the list changes daily, and they were at the top of the list the day I posted it.  Now neither appears in the top 200.  Maybe TCM realized their mistake and took them off.  Anyway, I'm happy to know they're available.  I don't see why and Hitchcock should be unavailable on DVD.

Anyway, I'm happy to know they're available.  I don't see why and Hitchcock should be unavailable on DVD.

I spent a year or two piecing together a pretty good Hitchcock DVD collection.  I have:

* NOTORIOUS
* REBECCA
* PSYCHO
* DIAL M FOR MURDER
* NORTH BY NORTHWEST
* THE BIRDS
* SABOTEUR
* STAGE FRIGHT
* THE WRONG MAN
* REAR WINDOW
* THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH (James Stewart version)
* SHADOW OF A DOUBT
* VERTIGO
* TO CATCH A THIEF
* FRENZY
* LIFEBOAT
* ROPE
* TORN CURTAIN
* TOPAZ
* STRANGERS ON A TRAIN
* SUSPICION
* SPELLBOUND
* I CONFESS

And maybe 1 or 2 others that I forgot to put on the list.  I think many of these and a few others (like FAMILY PLOT) are available in boxed sets.  And there's definitely a boxed set of Hitchcock's earlier movies.

Surf 2 has 3 votes (Mine being the third), and is in 570th place. Saturday the 14th is even worse, and Saturday the 14th Strikes Back even worse yet.
