Can only remember the cover

I've asked on some other forums but have yet to get an answer, so hopefully I'm remembering right. Anyways, it's an older flick from the 80's I believe it was an obvious alien knock-off (going by the creature design). The cover only had an image of the alien head, which was a yellow/orange/tan color (not sure which one but one of those) and had a long head that looked similar to Alien design. I don't remember if it takes place in outer space or underwater.

If I am remembering the cover design correctly, I think it had the alien head in a black box in the center and then it had thin white lines going all the way around it to the edge of the box with blue colored text. I saw the movie in a couple video stores (long time ago) on VHS and it was in a big plastic box.

Anybody have any idea as to what I'm talking about?

I saw The Intruder Within when I was a boy and it scared the hell out of me.
In recent years I remembered it and have been trying to track down a copy.
It was a made for TV movie and as far as I know, it's been out of print for years.
Not an easy title to find.

They've got some ex-rental copies of the VHS available over at Amazon. Ten bucks for a copy in "acceptable" condition, with no box, but it supposedly "plays good". TeddyR
