A friend asked me to go with him to the strip club the other night and I had to decline the offer.
I used to love going to the nudie bar when I was in my early 20's but as I've gotten older, it just doesn't appeal to me as much anymore.
Eventually I realized that stuffing my hard earned cash into a stripper's thong wasn't a great idea.  That, and the fact that my chances of actually hooking up with one of them and taking them home were astronomical.

Anyway, we got to talking about which song is the best stripper anthem.
My friend thinks it's "Hot For Teacher" by Van Halen.
That's a good choice, but I think this one is better.
(as you watch it, imagine a stripper grinding away on a pole and doing her thing)

How about you?
What do you think is the best stripper anthem?

I used to DJ in a club for about a year. Hair metal was made for strippers.  Then some stuff in the 90s like Rob Zombie and Limp Bizkit always got a rise (no pun intended) out of the crowd.  By the way, your choice Ash was pretty spot on.  These are some of the ones I can think of off hand I used to play and people enjoyed;

Girls, Girls, Girls-Motley Crue
You Shook Me All Night Long-AC/DC
Rag Doll - Aerosmith
Poison - Alice Cooper
Wanted Dead Or Alive- Bon Jovi
Rebel Yell - Billy Idol
Fire Woman - The Cult
Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Lepard

Well theres a few.  There are hundreds more but I don't want to hog up the space.  I recall one guy paying me 20 bucks weekly to play "Sexy Mother F*cker" by Prince.

Some people would believe that you're not a real man until you've had a lap dance by a professional. As such, when I eventually have a bachelor party, I want somebody to hire a stripper dressed like a trashy super heroine to do as such to me to the tune of "Now You're a Man", the theme from Orgazmo. I don't gravitate toward the traditional. Wink

My Temper Sure is Risin' - Brian Setzer + a couple others off Live Nude Guitars

The Stripper by Henry Mancini - Just about all his works have that cabaret/burlesque feel to them

Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress - The Hollies

PJ Harvey, in a weird way, Dress, Sheila Na-Gig, Plants & Rags, Rid of Me, Snake, Meet Ze Monster - For some reason, her works always bring to mind the aspect of a dirty girl taunting a suitor, while keeping well out of reach

Just about anything by The Cramps

She Rides- Danzig  would be my favorite

Back fifteen years ago, you'd go into a club and it was mostly rock you heard. Now you can't go into a single club with out hearing the p***y Song by Lords of Acid. Not my type of music, don't really have anything against it, but it gets old fast. I remember when Kid  Rock came out with I wanna Be a Cowboy, grrrr I avoided strip clubs for months after that. hot

This is why I don't go to those places, all the leopard pantsed hairheads screaming about their balls. I had to listen to oldies stations throghout highschool to avoid that crap. I think anything by Kenny Ball or Suzane Vega would be good. I don't know if I really like Vega as a musician, but her voice makes me feel funny, like when I climbed the rope in PE.

I got to see a woman strip once to "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails.

Also, Hot Sun in the Summertime by  Sly & The FAmily Stone is a good one.

When I was in college, I just got out of the Marines and was working as a bouncer in a couple of strip clubs in Lexington, KY.

There was a bunch of song they played over and over and over because the girls like to dance to them.

One was George Michael's "I want your sex"
Georgia Satellites - "Keep your hands to yourself" (which the girls would change the words too "Keep your d**k in your pants" )
Billy Idol's "Mony Mony" was the cattle call song.

Assorted Prince songs and plenty of hair bands songs.

One song I like in particular for that type of scene is:
Need You Tonight by INXS

I also like:
I Touch Myself by The Divinyls

And, when I'm getting married, I want the stripper at my bachelor party to give me a striptease/lap dance to the Mighty Mouse theme.  Morbid curiosity, I suppose.

Does your stripper have to look like Shannon Dougherty by any chance? And do you intend to "let one slip" if she opts to give you an "oral" presentation?  Drink
