Anyone else ever read any of Wilson's books, specifically the Repairman Jack series?

I've recently gone on a binge of these novels featuring the shadowy but loveable Jack as he battles both human and non-human threats in New York City.

I got curious about Wilson after reading his fine collection of short horror fiction titled The Barrens and Other Stories and then naturally stumbled across his Repairman Jack series.

Will Jack defeat the overpowering evil of The Otherness?
Will the authorities finally pin down Jack and discover his true nature?
Will Abe be able to eat his Entenmann's crumb cake in peace?

I read the first book not too long ago, and enjoyed it.  I just bought the second book yesterday, interestingly enough.

I've also read The Keep (which the movie is based on) and thought it was pretty good.  It's interesting to note that The Keep and its followups plus numerous other Wilson books are all in the same universe.

I recently read The Keep as well. It certainly does have that 'Old Ones' Lovecraftian theme (Wilson's a Lovecraft fan) that runs through the Repairman Jack novels as well as a novel theory as to the origins of Dracula and vampires in general. I've not seen the movie based on the book but I understand it's supposed to be awful. I believe Wilson and director Michael Mann both disowned it.

I am looking forward to digging into Wilson huge backlog of books.

I have read the whole catalog, its all good stuff.  Some of the pro-Libertarian values books are not to my tatse. But his whole Otherness cycles is great stuff.

There's one part of "The Keep" that has always stuck with me for the sheer imagery: When the (2?) dead Wehrmacht soldiers march to the door with their heads lolling around, guided by some unseen force...Spooky!
