 This guy made a carrear from B-fliks!!!! From westerns and serials in the 30's to Universal's top B-Monster in the 40's, to the 50's sci-fi (the INDESTRUTIBLE MAN,the ALLIGATOR PEOPLE etc...) the 60's with Al Adamson....untill his death and his last film DRACULA vs. FRANKENSTEIN.

39. George Zucco

Zucco played supporting roles in many A films such as THE SECRET GARDEN, JOAN OF ARC, and MARIE ANTOINETTE and was the ultimate Professor Moriarty in THE ADVENTURES OF SHERLOCK HOLMES. He also appeared in several Universal horrors like THE MUMMY'S HAND, HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, and THE MAD GHOUL. He also starred in several non-Universal horrors from other major studios like THE MONSTER AND THE GIRL and DR. RENAULT'S SECRET.

Of course, what really cinches Zucco's place on this list is his many over-the-top performances in poverty row horror classics like THE FEATHERED SERPENT, DEAD MEN WALK, SCARED TO DEATH, and THE BLACK RAVEN. Zucco was such a draw in these films his name appears in the credits of THE RETURN OF THE APE MAN even though he dropped out before filming began!

He started (in 1963!!!) in TV-mostly westerns, and became a TV star with KUNG FU .Still goin' strong with the recent HELLRIDE (2008)!!!
Here he is as Pearl...(yes...ahe plays a WOMAN in the movie!)....1989's SONNY BOY!!!!!

WARREN OATES: First discovered him in classic TV series like "Boris Karloff's Thriller" and "Lost In Space" and have since come to greatly appreciate his fine character portrayals in not only those TV shows but in many films particularly B-movie Westerns like THE SHOOTING, RIDE THE HIGH COUNTRY and RETURN OF THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. Also a favourite for his appearances in 1941, THE WILD BUNCH, IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT, DILLINGER, BRING ME THE HEAD OF ALFREDO GARCIA, DRUM, STRIPES, BLUE THUNDER and TOM SAWYER amongst others.
