Mr. Jonathan is a macho hair-salon owner and ladies' man (much like Adam Sandler in YOU DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN). When gangsters vandalize his shop and steal his girlfriend, he seeks revenge.
This is a typical 1970s blaxploitation movie (funky music, huge afros, plenty of nudity - - including full frontal nudity - - and a violent ending), but star John Daniels is pretty dull and there isn't much action until the final few minutes when the gangsters get killed with a chainsaw, pool cue, and hatchet. However, as a huge blaxploitation fan, I couldn't omit this from my DVD collection. At least it's a nice, widescreen print. Other than that, it's the pits. Of course, the fact that it was directed by Greydon Clark (SATAN'S CHEERLEADERS, WACKO, JOYSTICKS) doesn't help.
