We're all just victims of circumstance

We had some new rules put into effect in Arkansas because a local tv station bought a computer from the state health department  and found that it had hundreds of peoples social security numbers on it.

The state sent over some guys from the Department of Information Services to wipe the drive on tv.  The morons just deleted the partition on the drive, so when they left someone at the station just threw in Norton Utilities and got it right back.

So now we have to either wipe the drives to military specs or physically destroy them. We just use a drill press and run big ol' bit through them.  I've been thinking about buying an anvil and a sledge hammer to bash them. That would be a lot more fun.

My experience:

.45 acp : Breaks them, , as expected
.357 Magnum: Same as .45
7MM Remmington Magnum: Breaks them better, at longer range.
.338 Winchester Magnum: Pulverizes them, at long range.
.444 Marlin: Pulverizes them even better, but not at such a long range.
12 Gauge 000 Buck: Effective, but not as dramatic
12 Gauge Slug X 2: Quite dramatic destruction.

Raw bacon is GREAT! It's like regular bacon, only faster, and it doesn't burn the roof of your mouth!

Or you could just leave the drive on the busy highway between Pretoria and Johannesburg. I give that drive 5 minutes, no more.  TeddyR

Questions.  How do such drives stand up to golf clubs?  Especially drivers?
