McCain's history of hot temper raises concerns

WASHINGTON — John McCain made a quick stop at the Capitol one day last spring to sit in on Senate negotiations on the big immigration bill, and John Cornyn was not pleased.

Cornyn, a mild-mannered Texas Republican, saw a loophole in the bill that he thought would allow felons to pursue a path to citizenship.

McCain called Cornyn's claim "chicken-s---," according to people familiar with the meeting, and charged that the Texan was looking for an excuse to scuttle the bill. Cornyn grimly told McCain he had a lot of nerve to suddenly show up and inject himself into the sensitive negotiations.

"F--- you," McCain told Cornyn, in front of about 40 witnesses...

Gee I can't imagine a military man f--kin' cussing.

Now to raise concern, look at Obama's resume and assorted dubious friends.

To quote Aliens:

Gorman: Apone! Look... we can't have any firing in there. I, uh... I want you to collect magazines from everybody.
Hudson: Is he f@#$in' crazy?
Frost: What the hell are we supposed to use man? Harsh language?

And that's all I have to say about that...

We're all just victims of circumstance

This is a really old story. He's also been known to flip-off other lawmakers.   He was a spoiled brat and a trouble maker all the way through school and the Naval Academy. He admits most of this.

I still admire what he did in Viet Nam, but turning against everything he used to stand for the sake of pandering for votes has turned me against him. I think his ego is all that's driving him now.

The temper story has been off and on for years, it is probably a non-issue (Cheney has been known to use naughty language on the House floor without having any military service) and I doubt McCain is going to cuss out the president of Belgium or something.

The point of this story is not that JOHN McCAIN has a foulmouth.  The point of this story is whether we should be concerned that any leader of the free world can't control his temper.  (Image of MARTIN SHEEN in DEAD ZONE finger poised above the button...) If you have not read the story, please do so.  It's interesting the exchange between McCain and another Republican witnessed by quite a few...

Frankly I like the idea of having a guy that in there that these third world despots think might snap at a moment notice. That's what Russia feared about Reagan they didn't know what he might do. Putin, Ahmadinejad, and so many more would walk all over the other guy. It's all a game of buff and I think Johnny is a pretty good bluffer.
