Ok here we go again...the picking may not be as much as the before 2000 post but I think with our combined efforts we should get this done.  I'll start;

1.) Grand Theft Auto San Andreas

I originally wasn't going to get this game because I thought the gansta angle wouldn't appeal to me.  However, I'm glad that I did.  The map is HUGE and the little side features like being able to change your look rocks.   Thumbup

3. God of War
Awesome graphics, amazing gameplay, and one kicka$$ plot with a bada$$ protagonist.  If you haven't played it yet then go buy it NOW!!!

4. Final Fantasy IX  Thumbup

In my opinion the second best in the entire series, Square combined the best elements of VII & VIII to create a unique and engrossing masterpiece. I instantly fell in love with the graphics, characters, the maps and monsters. This game did have a simple story to follow, albeit still a great one.

5.) Kingdom Hearts

You'd think mixing Disney with Final Fantasy would be a bad idea.  It rocked  Thumbup

ELDER SCROLLS III:   MORROWIND

Incredible storyline, great gameplay, total freedom of action . . . OBLIVION had better graphics, but MORROWIND was a far better game.  Probably the best I have ever played.

15)  KATAMARI DAMACY  (PS2) one of the weirdest but most addictive games in recent years. The sequel is equally great BTW.
