Make sure you click over to the  "Movie's Saddest Attempts at Femenism" page.  The Eowyen page made me laugh out loud.

I agree with the Sixth Sense one, but then again I knew the ending before I saw the movie.  (Sometimes, the spoiler is all you need.)

I agree with the Sixth Sense one, but then again I knew the ending before I saw the movie.  (Sometimes, the spoiler is all you need.)

Fortunately nobody spoiled Sixth Sense for me before I saw it. I had no clue. As for the question of why Bruce Willis was talking to this kid, it wasn't random. As I recall, we see him actually reading the name and address off a piece of paper in his hand. So he got the assignment from the Great Appointment Secretary In The Sky.

On the DVD, Shyamalan says he used the color red as a visual cue that there was a ghost in a scene, and he thought that was going to be a dead giveaway. But that sort of symbolism completely escaped me too. I never noticed anything was red till Shyamalan said so.
