Cthulhu for president! Why choose the lesser evil?

The Dragonball live action teaser. Straight from the Uwe Boll School of Adaptation. Oh, the humanity!

Yeah it looks pretty bad. I used to watch Dragonball and Dragonball Z back in the day and well.... if memory serves me correctly.... nobody in the live action film seems to resemble the characters they are playing. (Except for the gals in their sexy cosplay outfits. ROWL!)

My personal fave is Chow Yun Fat as "Master Roshi." In the anime, Roshi was a bald, horny old goat with a Confucian goatee, and he often wore a Hawaiin shirt. (After all, he is retired from battling evil... for the most part.) It seems like for the film, they just said, hey, lets slap a Hawaiin shirt on Chow Yun Fat... there, perfect. He looks just like Master Roshi now!  Lookingup

Does anyone at Fox even attempt to go back and look at the source material before making a film?

I was talking to my best friend about this flick on the phone yesterday. We have made a pact to see this cinematic atrocity together when it hits theaters next year. May God have mercy on our souls.  Thumbup

Where's Vegeta? Where are their tails? Where is the stand-at-attention Super Saiyan blonde hair? And why isn't Piccolo green?!

This is gonna suck. Hatred

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

They come during Dragonball Z, this is just plain ol' Dragonball (Though the question about the tails and the color still stands Buggedout).

This may actually be worse than the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. A feat in itself.

I was in Mexico City very close to when they were filming it in the main 'Zocalo' there.  The set looked pretty sweet [it was finishing construction] and if I stayed for another week or two I could have been an extra.  Darn...

This film is going to suffer because Dragonball Z is so blazingly popular, but they're bound to start the story at the beginning which is a shame.  Surprisingly I can forgive Piccolo for not being bright green like in the Anime: To have him neon would have been even more ridiculous.  At least that's a more 'realistic' colour.

It does look pretty horrible: I'm getting images of DOA in my head.  Goku just looks odd, though that was always going to be a tricky one anyways.

At least Chow Yun Fat's in it, albeit completely miscast...

Aaaarrgh. I just don't know about this one. I'll usually give most any film a chance, but this is looking pretty bad and just slapped together to cash in off of the series.    Lookingup
