horror movie made in the 80's or early 90's about a voodoo curse put on owner of slaves and his home, years later a female singer (song in the movie goes "love will live and love will die in a beat of the heart..., shows music video being made in the movie) and her son move into the house. her fiance goes nuts because of the curse and tries to ill them both and the singer ends up in the mental hospital, her son comes to visit and realizes that his mother's doctor is the original cursed slave owner.
