Shoot, I was going to say "Things to Come", but that's a '30's movie -- 1965 British?  I thought I'd seen all of those -- evidently not . . .

RCMerchant, you are correct sir  TeddyR . Now it's your turn.  Cheers

You just gotta love that title. SPACEFLIGHT IC-1...especially the IC-1 part of it as it features people frozen in order to travel in space and also features a rather "icy" situation between those piloting the vessel what with mutiny and even more. That said, the film proves surprisingly dull and talky for a 65 minutes space opera and feels often much more akin to a soap opera. LOL.

I actually had to hit the books with that one! I consulted Phil Hardy's SCIENCE FICTION FILMS to figure it out!  BounceGiggle

I like talky space operas. Don't know why...good sleepy-time movies...!

Ok...

Edit: A clue...it's American....from the late 50's.

What's this, no guesses?

Let's see it's not King Solomon's Mines (1950), Forbidden Planet (1956), East of Eden (1955) or Love Me Tender (1956), unless there was another movie of that name made during the 50s that was a vampire flick, because that's what that pic reminds me of.  So if it's a horror movie. . .  hmm. . . probably not Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957) or The Wasp Woman (1959) so. . . I'll just throw out a wild arse guess to bump the thread and get the ball rolling. . .

It's not Not of This Earth (1957), is it?

I suppose this is a giveaway if I'm right, but is that John Carradine?

Nah-sorry!

Ok...'nother clue-the exact year is 1959. Castle films sold 8mm clips of this in the back of old Famous Monsters mag. It's a sci-fi film.

Castle FIlms?  8 mm?

*whistles*

That's older than soap.

I suppose that rules out IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE and THIS ISLAND EARTH, as neither are from '59 IIRC, LADY GODIVA wasn't a SF flick, though I'm surprised the script writers that sell to sciffy haven't re-envisioned this story, yet.

I give up.  Is it THE GIANT GILA MONSTER?

No?

4D MAN!

 Cheers

I guess that makes it my turn.  Let's see I do have some screen caps and, ah, here's the one. . . Though technically it may be NSFW I don't think Andrew will mind, once his brain unfreezes.   BounceGiggle

So do you want the hints now or do you want to make some wild guesses first?

Wicker Man?

Not quite.  Good guess though.

Hint #1: A young man who would go on to become a familiar voice, if not face, as a regular character actor (often buried beneath make-up) in the latter day Star Trek franchises had a starring in this.
