fortunately my '2 disc anniversary deluxe edition' of master of the flying guillotine includes an essay on the history of the flying guillotine in martial arts cinema.

It actually mentioned this film?  It's probably the most obscure use of it - I must admit, I'm impressed with whoever wrote the essay.

It's worth tracking down if you're a fan of classic 60s and 70s wuxia/chambara films, as it brings together the flying guillotine, Zatoichi, AND the One-Armed Swordsman.  Zatoichi is the only one who's virtually identical with his original film counterpart - the Chinese guy playing him (it's not Shintaro Katsu as the HKMDB suggests) is actually quite good.

The film has some serious problems, like some sloppy editing, shooting (made worse by a horrendous 4:3 crop job) and choreography and from what I can tell a pretty dull plot...  But still, worth a look for major fans.

Overdressed Slavegirls of GOR?

Two Girls Looking for a Clue?

No.  Seriously.  How about a clue, a hint, another pic, some bit of trivia about the movie, was it made in the 20th century, are any of the stars still alive, what country was it made in, did it win any awards. .  ???

This photo has more charm, wit, charisma and intelligence than Shia Labouf.
