Side note, this intro has to be one of the best ever.   Thumbup

I've always liked the score to Wild Things, not only the main theme but all the music throughout the movie sets the tone perfectly.  Here's the main theme, if you imagine skimming across the Florida everglades as this plays, it's pretty cool:

4) Phantasm -
apNLPvsrPgA
I love Phantasm, but it would not have been half as good without it's brilliant musical cues. Admittedly, not the scariest ever but thanks to it's eerie score (Including the above main theme), a greatly directed piece of work.

I used to use different tracks on the album as background music for my college radio show.

First, hooray for Rev. Powell for mentioning ANATOMY OF A MURDER.  Along the same lines, I would like to nominate:

13.  THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM (a Frank Sinatra classic, and a great, sleazy performance by Darren McGavin).

14. ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS: Gil Evans, David Bowie, Ray Davies & Sade!  Great soundtrack, mediocre film.
