Trying to find an 80's Alien Flick can anyone help???

[Got a question]

 I am looking for a movie, I believe it to be in the 80's. Anyhow what I remember speciafically is an an alien in a womans bedroom, while she sleeps. The alien touches her foot and it begins to to roll backwards, crushing her into a ball of light that hovers over the bed. I think the alien takes it. please e-mail me with any ideas. EDIT:  Now that I think about it, I don't believe it's Invaders From Mars.
I know which movie you're thinking of.  The people shrivel up and turn into a glowing blue ball of light.  Their transformations are pretty gruesome.

Ash is right.  This was most probably STRANGE INVADERS.

That was my guess to, so I think we can consider this one solved Scooby Doo.

Okay the only scene I truly remeber, was an Alien in a womans bedroom. It was night, shes is asleep. The alien walks to the foot of her bed and touches her on the toe, then, she screams as her foot begins to roll backwards, crushing and curling her up. I kinda remeber her body sinking in, you know that good old school FX. Then fianally she turns into a sphere a floating light. Like in in Coccoon. If anyone can remeber or help, that would be great.
