Anchor Bay doesn't have the rights to Phantasm II and whomever has them apparently interested in giving them up. I think it might be Paramount? If you're willing to fork out the moolah and you can play Region 2 PAL discs you can always buy a copy of the UK release like I did. Anchor Bay in the UK put together a b***hin' set of the Phantasm flicks collected in a spiffy silver ball complete with display stand and detachable little blades. TeddyR

Universal are the ones being anally retentive, asking AB umpteen thousands of dollars for the rights to a minor cult favorite. Paramount has actually been pretty greedy too with Marathon Man (Available, but despite the wishes of the crew no director's cut) and the first 5 in the Puppet Master series.

Ah, that's right. Thanks Mr. B! I had to do the same thing with the Puppet Master movies too. I don't like anything past the third movie, so I had to buy the first three on UK discs or hit up eBay for people selling them separate from the boxed set. I don't get the friggin' point. If you're not going to do something with the damn licenses, don't be douche bags and sell them for a reasonable price!  Hatred
