I'm watching Cool World for my next review at the moment and this song sticks out as a sore thumb.  It rocks.  This movie is weird, but the soundtrack kicks ass!

DCA-  yes when i was in college in the 90's that post rock stuff was very popular.  I called it "pointy rock" because the guitar lines reminded me of a bugs pincers.  June of 44 are good but I was more into the more overtly song oriented stuff like unwound and codeine, fugazi.  One of the biggest bands was sunny day real estate who were HUGE i wonder what happened to them.
