My deepest sympathies to Ronnie and his family.

This thread started as a celebration of his return to the board after a long absence.  Now, it's turned into a condolence thread.  Life can be like that, I guess.

I can only hope that when RC's done with the grieving process and returns to us, this can turn into a celebration thread again.  Life can be like that, too.

...everyone else loves you, therefore...
You must be kinda cool !

True.

RC, Andrew, and myself can be compared to the Three Stooges.

I'm the mean one who bops others on the head and pokes them in the eyes.

Ronnie is like what was once said of Curly: he is the heart and soul of the group.

Oh yeah; Andrew is the one with the funny hair who cries a lot.

Each and every one of us combine to make this dish what it is. If one of us goes missing, the rest will notice it; the flavor is just distinctively different. Ronnie more than adds a special ingredient to this board that is very much missed when he is not here; and this dish isn't the same without him.

Ronnie is our very dear friend, a valued member of this or any community, and the board's mascot; of course, that's mainly because he's the only one the costume will fit. Smile

I can only hope that when RC's done with the grieving process and returns to us, this can turn into a celebration thread again.  Life can be like that, too.

I know what you meant, Rev, but just to clarify for anyone who may not.

There is no real ending to the grieving process. Grieving has various stages to it, and, unfortunately, there is no roadmap or calendar to follow; it will follow its natural course in time, and whatever stages are necessary.

Some may abruptly consider a celebration as something of cheer, and laughter, and stories being swapped. Well, it is; and even that in grieving.

To celebrate is to remember. To remember and share those things we hold so dear about someone.

Tara Sue, I suspect, has always been in a better place. She has a family who holds her dear and always close to their hearts, always keeping with them a part of her. In life or death, there is no better place than being in the thoughts, hearts, and souls of those who love you.

RC, I know I haven't known you as long as some of these guys, but I am fond of you nonetheless.  You have been in my prayers for some time, and I hope that, in time, the sadness will fade enough for you to cherish the memories without being overwhelmed by pain.

We love you,  Bela.

I suppose I'm a little slow on my response, but I'd like to express my sadness and sympathy for the loss of Tara Sue.  You're an important part of our little community here and you'll always have our friendship and support.

 Bluesad

I was sitting here at my PC, listening to The Moody Blues on headphones. Justin Hayward was singing This Is The Moment and I started bawling uncontrollably.
