"Don, Aman" by Slint. Awesome band, amazing early post-rock craftsmanship.

"Cadence And Cascade" by King Crimson. The names are odd, but if you listen to the lyrics of this beautiful song, you'll find that they are the names of the two characters in the song.

Highly recommend Slint's "Tweez" album and King Crimson's "In The Wake Of Poseidon" album. Check 'em out!!!

Names (first and last), nicknames, and relations. I had alot of fun with this, so I threw in a little of everything--both instrumental and vocal. Some of these are plaintive. Some of these are joyeous. But these are some of my favorites with names in 'em. And if I remembered the singer, their name follows after the hyphen. Girls first, then guys.

Girls
"Lara's Love Theme"
"San Antonio Rose"
"Rambling Rose" - Nat King Cole
"Georgy Girl" - The Seekers
"They Call the Wind Maria"
"Waltzing Matilda"
"Daisy a Day" - Jud Strunk
"Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte"
"Sweet Caroline" - Neil Diamond
"Shenadoah" (name of an Indian maiden)
"The Yellow Rose of Texas"
"Deliah" - Tom Jones
"Sylvia's Mother"
"The Lusty Month of May" (named after the goddess Mai)
"Lili Marlene" - Marlene Dietrich
"Good-night, Irene" - The Mitch Miller Singers
"I'm Not Lisa" - Jessi Coulter
"Lucille" - Kenny Rogers
"Beauty and the Beast" - Angela Lansbury
"Hang On, Sloopy"
"Who Woke Snow White Up" - The Baha Men
"Ruby Tuesday"
"It Ain't Me, Babe" - Johnny Cash
"Ding! Dong! The Wicked Witch Is Dead!"
"I Got You, Babe" - Sonny and Cher

Guys
"Michael, Row the Boat Ashore"
"Tom Dooley" - The Kingston Trio
"Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport" - Rolfe Harris
"Dandy" - Herman's Hermits
"Big Bad John" - Jimmy Dean
"Ringo" - Lorne Greene
"Sloop John B." - The Beach Boys
"Da Doo Ron Ron" - Shaun Cassidy
"Happy Jack" - The Who
"Theme from 'Flash Gordon'" - Queen
"Elmer's Tune"
"Reverend Mr. Black" - The Kingston Trio
"Garry Owens"
"Theme from 'Doctor Who'"
"Theme from 'Second Noah'"
"Go! Speedracer! Go!"
"My Boy Lollipop" - The Spice Girls
"Hey, Jude" - The Beatles
"Colonel Bogie's March"
"Me and Julio, Down in the Schoolyard" - Paul Simon
"Captain Buffalo"
"Mr. Tambourine Man" - The Byrds
"The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" - Hugo Montenegro
"San Francisco" - Scott Mackenzie (named for St. Francis of Assisi)
"Another Saturday Night" - Sam Cooke (named after the god Saturn)
"Piano Man" - Billy Joel
"Theme from 'Medicine Man'"
"Pinball Wizard" - The Who

And one for Christmas "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" - Elmo & Patsy

"And to all a good night!"

Oh well if we're doing instrumentals, how about "Jessica" by the Allman Brothers.
