I don't know if he's been mentioned here before or not, and I'm not exactly a fan of country music, but this is one of those performers who transcends traditional classification.

Junior Brown is his name and with his "guit steel" as he calls it, he works absolute magic.

Now just watch this and see whether or not you agree:

Junior Brown is  amazing. I got exposed to his music about 10 years ago and quickly became a huge fan. Seen him live twice as well!

He is indeed an fantastic guitarist; I think I mentioned him in one of the threads about greatest guitar players. He has been among my favorites for several years now.

I can't help but be in awe of the man who can play the way he does, and then do one of the coolest songs ever on Spongebob Squarepants, "The Texas Song"
