Hey there badmoviephiles!  Its I, WyreWizard here with my worst of the worst movies for 2008.  Yes, I have compiled this list of the 10 most incredibly bad of the bad films.  Now to call these fils bad is a simple understatement.  In fact, I don't think there is a word in the english language to describe how terrible these films are.  These films were written by Hollywood's worst screenwriters, directed by the worst directors and starred some of Hollywood's worst actors.  I mean don't get me wrong, there are rare instances when good actors actually appeared in these films, but hey you gotta ask What were they thinking?  So without further ado, here's the list.

10.  Kung Fu Panda  Hollywood must be under the mistaken impression that CGI will sell its worst offerings.  But come on, a fat Panda who can do Kung Fu?  Gimme a break!

9.  Space Chimps  Again, another CGI trash flick from Hollywood.  I mean, who cares about a bunch of monkies shot up into space?  This film should be called Space Bad Movie Writers

8.  10,000 BC  I put this movie on my list because it makes a serious error in facts.  The makers of this movie expect us to believe that human civilization was established when smilodons and mammoths weren't yet fossils.

7.  Meet The Spartans  Don't get me wrong, I thought 300 was bad.  But this movie was even worse.

6.  One Missed Call  Another horror movie that was horribly bad.

5.  Speed Racer  "Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer, he's a demon on wheels.  He's a demon and he's gonna be chasing after someone."  If I were speed racer, I'd be chasing after the writer who thought to ruin this classic anime by putting it on the silver screen and making it live action.

4.  Get Smart  Another classic show brought to the silver screen in an awfully bad way.  Don Adams really immortalized Maxwell Smart.  No one else can play him, No one.

3.  Step Brothers  I just shake my head in disgust at this one.  Two guys very clearly adults who's elderly parents get married and they become brothers and go so far as to share the same bedroom!  What is it with Hollywood and movies with main characters that are losers?

2.  Superhero Movie  I tend to avoid any movie that has the word movie in its title.  Scary Movie I've never seen and this acid trip I wouldn't watch it even if you put a gun to my head.

And now for the all-time most terribly awfully hideously bad movie of 2008...

1.  The Love Guru  I didn't watch this movie because the main character reminds me too much of Family Guy's Peter Griffin.  This was definitely Mike Meyer's worst.

That's all I have, badmoviephiles, later.

Babe, I'm leaving.  I must be on my way.  The time is drawing near.  The train is going.  I see it in your eyes.  The love beneath your tears.  And I'll be lonely without you.  And I'll need your love to see me through.  So please me.  My heart is your hands.  And I'll be missing you...

Yeah, I must have slept through the seasons Don Knotts starred in "Get Smart".

And -32 karma?  Does that relate to the fact the correct star of an iconic series is not found in the rant?  Or is it a personal thing?

Long story about the -32 karma, mostly has to do with the fact he wouldn't stop pointing out why bad movies were "bad". TongueOut

Kung Fu Panda was rather good in its own way. I did not think it was that bad. (he also could not kung fu which was the point of the film)

Super hero movie aka dragonfly (why the hell did they changed the name?) had some enjoyable scenes nothing special.

AVPR however was sickeningly bad.

Worth watching once it had a nice message with some good entertainment.

I was thinking what I liked about it and one part came to mind.

Small | Large

I rather enjoyed the film and I might watch it again if its on TV over the next holiday.
