More crazy crap I found out about Nukie.

For those of you who have seen this horrid monstrosity of an E.T. ripoff; not only is this movie revolting on all levels, it was actually had a screening in the Cannes Film Festival of 1988 according to this blog article in x-entertainment:

We all know of Mac and Me-- another E.T. rip-off; to top it off, in France "Nukie: In Search of America" was released under "Nukie et Miko" (translation: Nukie and Miko) with the same front VHS Jackett from "Mac and Me"!
